Regardless of the fact that these days I'm not 'punching a clock' as it were, it still doesn't mean that I'm not whole heartedly appreciative of weekends, and most especially weekends that are chock full of awesomeinity.

Regardless of the fact that I don't have a traditional 9 to 5 these days, I still have a twinkle of joy in my heart when Friday rolls around. It might just be because I feel as though we, as a collective consciousness heave a big sigh of relief in unison, and get on with what free time THE MAN allows.
As I sat on my flight enroute to PDX this past Friday, and devoured Chuck Klosterman's 'Killing Yourself to Live. 85% of a true story', I couldn't help but notice a couple of similarities between his journey and the one I was embarking on to partake in this year's Single Speed Cross Worlds.
Everything you heard about this year's SSCXWC was true.

Upon my return home Monday night I reluctantly turned on my computer, only to find that in the couple of days I was away, I received over 100 emails. I type with two fingers and my nose. How the hell am I supposed to get through all of those?
